If Ever I Stray by Frank Turner
This song is really the soundtrack for my life right now. For me, it’s just fucking perfect. Thank you Frank Turner. Thank you.
¿Cuándo va a caer la bomba? by Los Niños Estelares
I have a soft spot for quirky indy music. Hence the reason why I check out Club Fonograma a lot. Los Niños Estelares are very much Puerto Rican hipsters, but unlike their NYC counterparts they are funny and humble. Their music reminds me of the old Spanish pop punk that was popular in the 80’s and 90’s. They might just be the Puerto Rican bastard child of Los Tres and Los Rodriguez.
If you know Spanish, Puerto Rico Indie has a great in depth article about the making of this video.
Me has olvidado by Hello Seahorse!
I’ve always liked this eclectic Mexican band. This track is quite epic and the video fits perfectly. It has an ominous feel and reminds me of shoegazing music like Sigur Rós.
